Great stay with tasty food!
Had a nice time over the holidays! The place was clean and comfy. The staff were super friendly. We loved hanging out by the cozy fire. Tried the steak and ale pie. it was delish! Just wish there were more options on the menu, but it’s all good.

Just an appropriate option for a weekend getaway in Sowerby Bridge with good value considering price it charged. Staff was friendly and helpful, making the stay more enjoyable. If you're sensitive to noise, consider requesting a quieter room.

Lovely rural spot, cozy bar, nice decor
Check-in procedure very slow and disorganized!!! Noise from bingo events travels directly to upper rooms, making it unbearable for light sleepers!!! Needed better room soundproofing and clearer event notices!!!

I loved my stay here, especially with the lovely view over the Calder Valley just a short walk up the hill. It's only about 2 km from People's Park, a perfect spot for a peaceful afternoon stroll.

Couples looking for a great stay
Had this delightful experience with a lovely breakfast prepared just for me. Kim was super friendly and even managed to find some vegetarian sausages for breakfast, which really made my day.
Not the cheapest place around, but honestly, it’s worth it.

I had a lovely time enjoying the comfy room and live music in the cozy bar area. There were also fun activities like bingo and a chance to unwind at the lounge. The only downside was some noise from the bar that kept me up a bit, so maybe ask for a quieter room if you're a light sleeper. 🎶

While my stay had its quirks, I absolutely loved the comfy furnishings and the stunning Calder Valley views. The open mic night brought a delightful vibe, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. Plus, the decor strikes that perfect balance between modern chic and rustic charm. What a hidden gem!
Now for the cheeky critique—the breakfast experience with the rude Sunday lady was a real letdown. I was ready to pay, but her poor attitude soured the morning. Despite that, the overall atmosphere and decor kept things shining bright.

What a lovely stay! The room was spacious and had a cozy corner with an armchair, perfect for sipping tea after a day of exploring. The ambiance in the bar with the locals made it feel like a home away from home. The breakfast was ample and beautifully cooked.

Amazing Views and Excellent Food
I recently stayed in a Deluxe Double Room for one night and was absolutely amazed by the stunning views over the Calder Valley, just a short walk from the inn. The room was beautifully decorated, maintaining a blend of modern elegance and country charm. The locally sourced, freshly cooked food was outstanding, and I had a fantastic night's sleep. One minor downside was that the open mic event could get a bit loud for those wanting a quieter evening.
